Raw Salted Chocolate Macaroons
Who of us doesn't have a sweet tooth? Try this temptingly sweet recipe and enjoy... guilt free! Make sure to invest in quality ingredients, they will make a huge difference in your baking!
- 2 cup shredded coconut, unsweetened
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 4-5 tablespoon cocoa powder
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Place all ingredients into a food processor and process until well mixed, scrape down the sides if need. You want to make sure all ingredients are mixed well, it should be thick.
Roll into little balls with your hands, place on wax paper. Grind course Himalayan sea salt on top of macaroons. Chill in the freezer or fridge. Serve when macaroons feel firm. Enjoy!
