1/4 dry millet + 3/4 cup water
2c sweet potatoes
1c chopped mushrooms
2 dates
juice of 1 lime
1tsp cumin
1tbsp maple syrup
1/4c wheat germ
1tbsp pumpkin seeds
dash of cayenne pepper
sea salt, to taste

Preheat oven to 350. Start by peeling, cubing and steaming sweet potatoes. Cook millet and water till water is completely absorbed, let cool. Using a food processor, blend sweet potato, mushrooms, and pitted dates until ingredients are smooth. Add millet, sweet potato mixture as well as the remaining seasonings together. Combine thoroughly. Divide mixture into 4 quarters and form into patties. Heat avocado oil over medium heat in a frying pan. Cook each patty until sides are browned, then cook in oven for 10 minutes. We recommend topping with sliced avocado and a how made chipotle safflower mayonnaise.
